With all the problems that exist in the world ~ and there are MANY ~ we could reduce the number of those issues by changing our interactions with each other. A more humane, more abundant, more creative and efficient system is possible. One term used to define this system is "Resource Based Economic Model" ~ The Zeitgeist Movement's (TZM) education outreach purpose. Many believe 2012 will be an interesting yet destabilized year with bio social pressures, further environmental disaster, political and economic unrest, militarized crack down on dissent, more war and what is required is massive social change on a global level.

We recommend people familiarize themselves with the train of thought and TZM before attending. This is not an introduction rather a video presentation and group discussion for people who are somewhat familiar with TZM.

TZM Townhall Meetings are live, public events conducted by Official Regional Chapters. These localized events are similar in function to our annual global "Zeitgeist Day" ( or Z Day in March) events but ideally occur monthly, rather than annually. 

TZM seeks independant people who are willing to get out into the community to educate people to understand the train of thought essential to move into the future in the most healthy way possible. We know we don't have to live the way we do. So let's talk about it.  

Meet other like-minded individuals and get more informed. If you are interested in global & local sustainabilty and you want to find out more about how to help spread awareness about a direction we can move toward that our future will depend on, please get involved. Local solutions like community gardens, getting off the grid, ideas using technical solutions and community unity are welcome discussions.    

Tempe Connections is a non-profit addition at The Tempe Library. They provide services for senior citizens in the community with sales from the coffee shop and a wonderful dislpay of gently used, very afforadable hard cover books. We ask attendees to please buy some books and a drink at the event to help support Tempe Connections who graciously donates the room to us. Thank You!
